Arvilla Jane Jacobs

Arvilla Jane (Kachel) Jacobs, 86 years old, of Caernarvon Twp., Berks Co., passed away in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, West Reading, where she was a patient for two weeks.
Born in Robeson Twp., Berks Co., she was a daughter of the late Harry B. and Mary (Bitler) Kochel.
She had been employed as a waitress for the Black Angus Inn, Ludwig's Corner, for 22 years before retiring in 1991.
She attended Birdsboro High School. As a teenager, she spotted planes in Robeson Twp. for the Civil Air Patrol during WW II.
She was a member of Harmony United Methodist Church, Caernarvon Twp., Berks Co.
She is survived by five sons, three daughters, one sister,
nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a brother, H. Clyde Kochel, and a sister, Evelyn Wambach.
Interment will be in Harmony United Methodist Cemetery.
