About Ashraf Ali
Ali lived in Fiji, where he ran a taxi company in Suva. He came to New Zealand around twice a year to visit family, and arrived in Christchurch about a week before his death at Masjid Al Noor. His second wife had died around six months ago, his brother, Ramzan, said. His first wife, with whom Ali had a daughter, died four years ago.
