About Atanacio Ampig
Atanacio Ampig was a Filipino lawyer and politician. He represented the third district of Iloilo at the House of Representatives of the Philippines from June 5, 1934 to September 16, 1935. He later represented the same area at the National Assembly from December 30, 1948 to December 17, 1941, when he was killed in the sinking of SS Corregidor during World War II.
