Atte Teekes

We do not yet know the name of Atte Teekes wife. He didn't
yet have the name Atsma.
The name Atsma came in 1811, when everybody needed a
family name (Napoleon ordered that). It was Geertje Ykes who
asked for the name Atsma in 1811 (see the attachment).
Atte Teekes his birthdate is not yet known.
In 1760 he announces the birth of his son Jurjan on
23-01-1760 and the baptizing on 3 feb.

So Atte Teekes is the father of Jurjan.
This Jurjan married Geertje (Gettje) Ykes and he was the one
who died in 1805 (45 years old).
Before 1811 many people had patroniemen (the ordinary people
mostly). People of higher classes did already have a family-name in
those days.
His birth year has been estimated.
