As you can see, the first five children (Wilhelmine, Carl, Pauline, Ludwig and Rudolf) were born in Germany and immigrated with their parents and a grandmother. The other three (Gustavo, Rita and Luiza) were born in Brazil. There is no August whatsoever there.

It is written in Portuguese, but it lists all of their children: Guilhermina (Wilhelmine), Carlos (Carl), Paulina (Pauline), Luis (Ludwig), Rodolpho (Rudolf), Gustavo (Gustav) and Rita. No August there.
