About Augusta Barbara Kluck (Meissner)

Some confusion seems to exist about this womans lineage. When Anna Zehner Bruski did her research she made note of the fact that when Jozef Bruski passed away in 1918 he was survived by a son Frank (Polonia) and a "step-daughter" Augusta of Ironwood, MI. But when son Frank passed away in 1951, Augusta is reported to be a pre-deceased "sister". In Anna Zehner Bruski's notes, I frequently find Augusta's mother referenced as Anna Misner. Augusta's family knows her maiden name to be Meissner, not Bruski which lead me to believe that her mother was married prior to marrying Jozef. In digging further, I found a record (which I thought I had downloaded but now can not locate) that showed Anna was once married to a Joseph Meisner (circ. 1858) in Poland. The same record shows she was married to Jozef Bruski (circ. 1873), also in Poland. Augusta would have been 11 years old at the time of that second marriage. The confusion deepens when the marriage record for Anna's son Jozef G Bruski had her maiden name as Anna Majer (penmanship on this document is distinctly clear), but the marriage records for Frank & Peter (which I haven't seen yet) show their mother's name to be Anna Meissner. The first conclusion I draw is that Augusta's maiden name was Meissner as known by her family. Second, if Anna's maiden name as shown on Frank & Peter's marriage records was indeed Meissner, then Augusta was born out-of-wedlock else; if Anna's maiden name was in fact Majer as shown on Jozef's marriage record, she had to have married someone by the name of Meissner and Augusta is their daughter. Three questions I have about this Joseph Meissner; Did he exist & marry Anna? Did he divorce Anna? Did he die prior to 1873 and leave Anna a widow?
