Austin Marwood Troughton

Apprenticeship: on 6 March 1878 he was bound for 4 years to C C Johnston, Liverpool; but on 27 Oct 1879 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, he deserted the "Merwanjee Framjee" 47446 at Sydney 27.10.79 (per List C received 17.7.80).

At the time of the 1911 census he was a poultry farmer, living with his widowed mother, 90-year old grandmother, and two sisters.

Died on 10 Nov 1914; poultry farmer of of Parkbury, Egerton Road, Rock Ferry; probate granted 23 Dec 1914 to brother Rev. Leslie Wycliffe Troughton.
