Avgousta Caprara

Born in Larnaca. Her father was Antonio Caprara (1787-1869), consul to Austria in Larnaca, son of Giacomo Bernardo Caprara. Her mother, Katerina, was the daughter of Marino Mattei, from the old family of Larnaca. Having inherited her father's wealth, she donated this towards the benefit of Larnaca, the interest to borrow for a hospital with local doctors as well as various other. She also donated to clock of Terra Santa Church in Larnaca.
