She married John Seymour Allen October 2, 1895, in Mesa, Arizona. Seymour and Barbara were parents of 12 children: Ashael, Blanche, Loren, Barbara, John "Bat", Gove, Mary, Eldred, Russell, Ben, Joe, and Della. Barbara died February 2, 1957, at the age of 79.
