Died peacefully in her sleep at home in Los Angeles at 82. At her side was her life partner and devoted caregiver, her husband Jack. Born Barbara Rae Kraus in New York, N.Y. to Charlotte and Ralph Kraus. Married to Jackie Cooper April 29, 1954. Moved to Beverly Hills, Calif. the following year, as her husband's career transitioned from the Broadway stage to television, and sent for her family soon thereafter. All remained Californians the rest of their lives.
