Barbara Ann Jackson

Barbara Ann Jackson, 44, of Virginia died Wednesday, June 3, 1998, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

She was born Sept. 24, 1953, in Georgia, the daughter of Willard and Alma Jackson. She married Oscar Coplin on May 15, 1970, and Tim McQueen on Sept. 3, 1993. She was employed as an E.M.T. for Eveleth Ambulance from 1986 to 1993; and was a waitress at Village Inn for 10 years. She attended Open Door Ministries Church in Hibbing.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her daughters, Melissa (Dion) Anderson of Bloomington, Minn., and Michelle Coplin of Chisholm; grandchildren Dylan and Taylor Anderson, and Nicole Coplin; a very special nephew, Billy Ray Jackson of Georgia; brothers Walter (Carolyn) Jackson and Ray (Carolyn) Jackson, both of Georgia; sisters Gloria (Mark) Pruitt of Florida, Sabrina (Calvin) Jarriel and Margaret (Ronald) Pruitt, both of Georgia, and Jeanette Parrish of Massachusetts; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and her best friend, Maryellen (Gordy) Hanson of Iron.

Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Sunday in Bauman Family of Funeral Homes, Bauman-Cron Chapel in Virginia, where the service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday. Pastor John D. Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
