Died 25th instant last month at Somerville, Morgan County, Mrs. Barbara W. Rather, consort of John T. Rather, Esq. In the death of this amiable woman, society has sustained an irreparable loss. She was a dutiful child, an affectionate wife, a tender mother, a humane mistress and a kind neighbor. She has left a husband and an infant child, together with a numerous train of relatives and friends to mourn her loss.
