About Barbara Faye "Bobbie" Reed
Barbara Faye Ditto Reed, 70, of Lincoln, Mont., died Friday, Feb. 22, 2008. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Faith Baptist Church in Amarillo with the Rev. Kurtis Spidel, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Llano East Cemetery by Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 S. Bell St.
Mrs. Reed was born June 30, 1937, in Houston to Thomas Oren Ditto and Isabell Pearl Ditto Burke.
She married Charles Kenneth Reed on Feb. 12, 1954, and he preceded her in death in 2005. At that time, "Bobbie" moved to Lincoln and lived with her daughter, Danita Hane, and husband Kyle until her death. Barbara was a full-time homemaker who loved her husband, her girls, her grandchildren and her heavenly Father.
Survivors include two sisters, Margaret Land of Amarillo and Millie McCarthy of Fort Worth; three brothers, Gene Ditto of Spring, Phil Burke of The Colony and Bud Burke of Choctaw, Okla.; three daughters, Danita Hane and husband Kyle of Lincoln, Becky Abraham and husband Mick of Pagosa Springs, Colo., and Heidi Hulquist and husband Robert of Amarillo; 10 grandchildren, Amanda Wraith and Gennifer Curry, both of Montana, Alia Bailey, Michael Abraham, Daniel Abraham and Avonlea Guthrie, all of Pagosa Springs, and Kathleen, Juli, Kit and Cheyenne Hulquist, all of Amarillo; and nine great-grandchildren.
