About Baron Laszlo de Dirsztay Honorary consul General for the Turkish Empire in Debrecen and later Vienna. 19/4/1899 Dropped surname Fisch/Fischl, retaining Dirsztay alone. 30/11/1905 made Baron de Dirsztay by Emperor Franz Joseph. Commissioned and lived at Dirsztay Palace in Vienna & Budapest. m1 Etelka Steinfeld b Debrecen 4 Apr 1861 d Budapest 28 Mar 1943. They were divorced. Etelka married secondly Count Ernö Zichy de Vasonkeö m2 Georgina Plaut LASZLO 1860-1922 as the grandson of LAZAR 1772-1841 We have suggested they were not father (IGNASZ 1825-1907) and son (IGNASZ 1845-19170 but that the older Ignasz was the son of LAZAR Fischl and the younger Ignasz was the son of LAJOS/LAZAR Fischl. Lajos is a Hungarian equivalent of Lazar. In this way we show Lajos 1870-1932 as the grandson of Lajos Fischl 1798-1856, and LASZLO 1860-1922 as the grandson of LAZAR 1772-1841. Online sources suggest to him that Bela's father Gutmann had a father named Moses not Lajos, that the father of Moses was Lazar Eleazar Fischl b~1772 in Timisoara, and an Ignasz was a brother of Moses Fischl. On the other hand, we point to the probability that Laszlo 1860-1922 was the grandson of Lazar, and hence that Gutmann was the son of Lazar not Moses. We retain the Moses suggested by Scott McDougall as a grandson of Moses bar Baruch aka Moritz Baruh. Moritz is an equivalent of Moses. Perhaps Bela is an echo of Baruch, the father of Moritz Baruh, and the (suggested) unknown brother of Lazar 1772-1841 would have been named Baruch if he was the oldest son.
