Barrie J. Boring Date of Death - May 20, 2009 Age 68, of Whitaker, went home to be with his Lord on May 20, 2009, after suffering from a long illness. Barrie was born on May 25, 1940 in Bolivar, PA. to the late Harrison & Virginia Boring and step-son of the late Corrine Boring. His professional career was spent in the retail industry most notably with F.W. Woolworth as a manager and district manager. He is survived by spouse Bertha Boring of Baltimore, MD.; former wife Joyce Boring of West Mifflin; father of Michael Boring of West Mifflin, B. Scott (Hollie-Lynne) Boring of Shamong, N.J., Jacqueline (Robert) Geisler of West Mifflin, and Yvonne (Shawn) Wilson of West Mifflin; grandfather of Ryan, Shane, Tyler, Spencer and Hayden; brother of Timothy of Jeannette, Lane (Kathy) of Amherst, OH, Nathan (Maryann) of Arnold, MD, Hope( and the late Gary) Hundley of Montgomery, AL, Beth (David) Wayman of Pegram, TN, Amy Pierce of Monroeville, and Michelle (Greg) McIntyre of Trafford and the late David Boring of Monroeville; he is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends received at the GENE H. CORL INC. FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATION CENTER OF MONROEVILLE, 4335 Northern Pike (1 block East of Mosside Blvd.-Rte. 48) (A Golden Rule Member). Visitation Friday May 22 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m, and where services will be held on Saturday 10 a.m. with Rev. Jeffrey Dillinger, officiating. Interment CrossRoads Cemetery.
