Bartholomew Reardon, Convict "Scarborough" 1788

Barthlomew REARDON (aka BARTLETT) was born c1750 (son of Daniel REERDON and Mary HARRINGTON) (alternative date of birth is 1725 as recorded as age 62 on arrival)

Bartholomew married Katherine WOOD on 20/7/1781 at Gosport, England.

Bartholomew was convicted of receiving stolen goods and sentenced to 7 years transportation. He arrived in Sydney Cove on 26/1/1788 on "Scarborough". His wife Katherine did not accompany him.

Bartholomew went to Norfolk Island on Sirius in May 1788.

Bartholomew married Hannah ROWNEY/RONAY/ROONEY nee FLINGER on 5/11/1791 at Norfolk Island and they had the following children

• Bartholomew 15/6/1791
• Frances 12/10/1794
• Ann 14/5/1796
• Steve 1798 (died 6/5/1801)
• Daniel 1799 (died 11/11/1801)

Bartholomew died 1/5/1807 on Norfolk Island
