Bartholomew Siegrist was born 27 February 1697 in Baldenheim, Bas-Rhin, France. His parents were Bartholomew Siegrist and Barbara. He married Eva Blaehly 9 February 1721. They had seven children. They emigrated in 1727 and settled in Pennsylvania. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Pennsylvania, Virginia and Utah.
