About Baruch Tzvi Moskowitz

Rabbi Baruch Zvi HaCohen Moskowitz-Rappaport (1907-1990) learned 7 years in the Satmar Yeshiva from his Rabbi author of Keren L'David. He was a faithful Chassid and traveled to the "Ahavat Yisrael" in Vizhnitz, to the "Minchat Elazar" in Munkach, to Rabbi Aharon of Belz but he was primarily attached to Rabbi Yoel of Satmar. After the holocaust, he served as Rabbi of the Yera'im congregation in Paks and its surroundings; there he established an important yeshiva. He served as rabbi of Budapest and in 1959 he moved to Vienna. During that time, he wrote and published his important books Tenuvot Baruch, Mishmeret Zvi etc. He was a close friend of the Gaon of Papa, author of VaYechi Yoseph, and of the Rebbe of Satmar, author of Beirech Moshe, since their youth. He left many Talmidim in America, Eretz Yisroel & England.
