About Benjamin Franklin Billings
B. F. Billings, 87, of Winnfield, died at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, February 16, 1965, in a hospital here after a long illness. He was a retired sawmill worker. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Laurel Heights Baptist Church with Rev. C. C. Martin and Dr. W. L. Holcomb officiating. Burial was in Atlanta Cemetery in Atlanta under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.
Survivors are his wife; five sons, C. C. Billings of Baytown, Texas, J. C. Billings of Kilgore, Texas, C. E. Billings of Trout, W. L. [sic W. I.] Billings of Glenmora, and L. C. Billings of Atlanta; three daughters, Mrs. C. E. Sherwood of Winnfield, Mrs. Roy Miller of Lyons, Kansas, and Miss Evelyn Billings of Winnfield; and 32 grandchildren and 65 great grandchildren.
