A french Huguenot who came to England with his two brothers, and then c1691, went to America with one brother, Andrew, who became the richest man in Boston. Benjamin had 2 sons and 3 daughters, one of whom married Henry Phillips, who, in 1728, had to flee to France after killing Benjamin Woodbridge, in the first duel to be fought in Boston.
