Benjamin James married Florence Shires on the 8 June 1891. The Shires were quite a well to do family as we look at their grave plots we see that they are in an expensive area of Undercliffe cemetery, a path side plot, No: p239 and is unconsecrated ground.
Benjamin and Florance had a baby born to them in 1889 named John however he only survived for one month.

Headline BRADFORD INQUEST A verdict of death from natural causes was recorded at the Bradford inquest today on Benjamin James Foulds aged 68 of 76 New Lane Laisterdyke, who died from myocardial degeneration in a Billiard Saloon yesterday ( the saloon is on Thornton Rd Bradford). The Yorkshire Observer p3 col 6 Tues 19th July says: BRADFORD FATALITY benjamin James Foulds, 68 year old master tailor of 76 New Lane Bradford, died while being taken to St Luke's Hospital last night after he had collapsed in the entrance to a Thornton Road billiards saloon.
76 New Lane, Laisterdyke and 27 Upper Addison St, Bowling (See marriage Cert) is now demolished. This was the residence of William Stables, born 1881, and Ellen Stables, born1888. They were Florence Shires Aunt and Uncle on her Mothers side.
1893 Trade directory under Taylor. BJ Foulds 8 Wakefield rd. In 1881 this address was a residential house. BJ and Florence also had a son called H who died in the 1917 war in France I think, They were survved by a daughter called Phyllis, florence was living with her in Eastburn when she died. Phyllis married Butterfield and her sons wife is still living a few houses away in Eastburn.
