Benjamin of Halifax, Massachusetts Bay and Rebeckah Drew of Kingston, Massachusetts Bay had their intentions to marry published in Halifax on 21 October 1738. [3]
They had the following children.

Probate
Benjamin Gilbert of Halifax, housewright, died intestate and on 11 January 1763. Josiah Sturtevant of Halifax was granted the administration of his estate.[5]
His inventory was taken on 3 March 1763 in Halifax.[6]
In 1763, his estate was represented as insolvent, and a list of claims and creditors was recorded.[7]
In 1764, an account of his estate by Josiah Sturtevant was recorded which included "cash received from Harrison Grey" (Researcher's Note: Harrison was the Province of MA Bay's treasurer, money received is for being a soldier in the British service), necessaries to the widow, and administration fees. The balance of his estate was paid to the creditors.[8]
