Death of B.F. Kenyon

B.F. Kenyon died at 9 o'clock last evening at his home, 1022 Merchants street, after a lingering illness caused by consumption. His death was peaceful, his spirit passing away while he was sitting in his chair.

Mr. Kenyon came to Emporia twenty years ago from near Carlisle, Pa. For the last sixteen years he has been in the employ of the Emporia Hardware company. His age was 41 years. He leaves a wife and three boys. An exemplary member of the Presbyterian church, he maintained the respect and esteem of his social and business associates, and in a high degree exemplified a noble life. The funeral will take place Friday at 3 p.m.
