About Benjamin Mackie
Benjamin Mackie had 5 children, William, Joseph, Samuel, Lizzie and Annie. Benjamin died of “Consumption” (TB). His sons Joseph and Samuel died a few years afterwards in their teens, so it is likely they also contracted TB. The three are buried in the Richhill Quaker burial ground (15 Irish Street).
