Benjamin Notson

In 1755 a Benjamin Notson was born in Watton, Norfolk which is about 10 miles from Cockley Cley and less than 4 miles from Ashill. He was christened on February 19,1755. His parents were Benjamin Notson and Mary Parkynn. They were both from Watton and were married there on July 26, 1745. The elder Benjamin probably died in Watton in 1783 and was buried there on June 13, 1783. This Benjamin (almost certainly the same as the one baptised in Watton) was again baptised in Rocklands on August 21, 1826 when he was 72 years old and just about to die.
