!This indenture made and agreed on this twelfth day of February,1822, between Lindsey Oglesby on one part and Benjamin Penn of the other part and both of the state and county aforesaid. Witnesseth that I,the said Lindsey Oglesby for and in consideration of the sun of Eight Hundred and Eighteen dollars to him in hand paid by the said Benjamin Penn at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents and receipts whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold and delivery and forever confirm unto him the said Benjamin Penn one tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the county of Walton in the State aforesaid containing two hundred and fifty acres more or less on Bear Creek it being lot two hundred and twenty four first district of Walton County and granted to Thomas Oglesby on the fifteenth day of August, 1821 by His Excellency, Governor John Clark as will appear by references to said plat and grant said lot or tract of land I the said Lindsey Oglesby do for myself my heirs executors administers or assigns warrant and forever defend the aforesaid lot or parcel of land unto hin the said Benjamin Penn his heirs executors administrators or assigns so that he or they shall at all times hereafter be quietly peaceably possessed of the same clear from the claim or claims of all or any person or persons in any manner whatsoever in fee simple and affix my seal the day date above.
