Transcription of a piece from a local (Bradford City) Journalist sent to Mrs Nash in Oct.1982:
Benjamin Prosser was one of the first plyers signed by Bradford City Football Club following the formaiton of the club in 1903 and played in their first home match, the second in their history against Gainsborough Trinity. He played only in the club's first season 1903/1904 making 15 league appearances, scring one league goal and four in the FA Cup. Then, Presumably he left the club for his name does not appear in the first team in any subsequent season. He was signed from Stoke City and presumably returned to the Potteries. He was a Centre Forward.
