Benjamin Redding was born on 9 June 1711.1 He was the son of John Redding and Jane (?) (of Gloucester, MA).1 Benjamin Redding married Lydia Thorndyke, daughter of Herbert Thorndyke (of Beverly) and NN (?), on 30 May 1733 ; 1st m. for Lydia, she his widow.1 Benjamin Redding died before 8 April 1736.1
