Benjamin, born about 1646, was the son of Roger and Mary (Palgrave) of Watertown, MA. Benjamin, married, Elizabeth Sweetman on 7 Dec 1671 in Watertown. Benjamin was killed during the "King Philip's Indian War".

Through his daughter, Mehitable, who married, William Sherman, Benjamin became the grandfather of Roger Sherman, a signer of the "Declaration for Independence".
