Was a resident of Charlotte, NC and lived at Westpoint in Denver, NC at Lake Norman.
He loved fishing and giving us family members boat rides. And spending summers at the lake with all my cousins, aunts & uncles; have cookouts & family reunions for the "masses" of 'Smiths' that there were. He leaves behind a large 'in-law-family of Smiths' with plenty of neices, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-laws. You will forever be in our memory
Uncle Benny I'll miss you forever!! (ps: I never forgot the time years and years ago that you let me have a puff of your cigar! Yugh...that was the nasty's thing ever, but I never forgot what a cool uncle you were!!) ~Love & Miss You Always!! Dance with Pauline now, for I know that ya'll have missed each other for eleven long years!! Glad to have got to see you in the summer in CLT for Betty Jean's funeral. It's that how it goes now!?
