Benny Marie Paschall

Benny Paschall, 83, died February 28, 2011, in Monroe, LA, after a lengthy illness. Ms. Paschall was born on July 31, 1927, in Megargel, TX. She graduated from Harris School of Nursing, Ft. Worth, TX, in 1947.

After moving with her family to Monroe in 1966, Ms. Paschall was an RN at St. Francis Medical Center. She worked in Surgery and ICU and as a floor nurse for over 25 years.

After retiring, she became active in First United Methodist Church. She was a member of Aldersgate Sunday school class and proudly ran the Pumpkin Patch for 14 years. She also donated much of her time to St. Vincent DePaul.

She was predeceased by her beloved son Maury Paschall and her parents, Ben and Beulah Northcott.

Ms. Paschall is survived by her daughter Diane Paschall, son Michael Paschall, and her brother and sister-in-law James Lee and Doris Northcott. She is further survived by her son-in-law Mike Shuck, daughter-in-law Erlene Paschall, grandchildren Mandy Shuck, Amanda Allard and Guy Allard, other relatives and many friends.

Her memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church, 3900 Loop Rd., Saturday, March 19, 2011, at 11 AM and will be officiated by Rev. Larry Stanford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Vincent DePaul. Psalm 48:14: For this God is our God forever and ever; He will be our guide even to the end.
