OBITUARY
B. W. BRYAN, 87, of Breckenridge, formerly of Perryton, died March 8, 2003.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 10, at Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home Chapel of Memories in Breckenridge, with Rev. Rick Pearson, officiating, assisted by Charles Kuhn and Jim Cox.
Burial was Tuesday, March 11, in Ochiltree Cemetery, with Rev. Rick Pearson and Rev. Geary Martin officiating.
He was born October 6, 1915 in Gem City, and married Leona Elizabeth ANDERSON on December 24, 1936 in Beaver, Oklahoma. He was a farmer, and owned Bryan Repair Shop in Perryton for many years, before retiring and moving to Breckenridge in 1990.
He was a member of the First Christian Church of Breckenridge, and of the Corsicana IOOF Lodge No 5 and the Breckenridge Elks Lodge No. 1480. He was a past grand master of the Perryton IOOF Lodge, past grand marshal and captain of the Canton, past district deputy and past governor of the Perryton Moose Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; one son; one grandson; three sisters; and one brother.
He is survived by one daughter, Connie PEARSON of Perryton; one son, John BRYAN of Breckenridge; one sister, Lorene DERBYSHIRE of California; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to Breckenridge Senior Citizens or Meals on Wheels, in care of Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home, P.O. Box 67, Breckenridge, TX 76424.
