Bernardino Urbina

Since the death of "Maestro Angel", Sancti-Spiritus was without a public school for their children to receive an education. In 1831 it was decided to open a couple of cells in the convent of San Francisco as classrooms. Friar Felipe Opiso would teach primary education and friar Bernardino Urbina would teach Latin.
