About Berta Goldmann
Was admitted to Brno insane asylum in 1884, 19 years before her daughter Olga was also admitted to the same institution. It was overcrowded and disease was rife and Bertha died after just 7 months. August 21 1884 Vienna newspaper article. "The wife of an agent Bertha Goldmann in Ottakring yesterday morning sold all her furniture and left her house expressing her intention to commit suicide in a written letter."
She was admitted as a result of this.
