Never Married
- Notes for Grant Pauleon Midcap: Written by Susan Wagoner Davidson My earliest recollection of Uncle Grant is of him tying two cats together by their tails and hanging them over the clothes line. I thought this was a terrible thing to do. We lived at the head of Rush Creek near Speed, WV. My age was 4 or 5. Grant never married, lived most of his life going from one sibling to another where he could be of some help doing chores. He was a likeable fellow and loved to tell stories. He kept us spellbound for many an hour with his wit and knack for story telling. He hitch hiked when he wanted to move on but usually knew when and where to catch a ride to his desired destination.
