About Bessie Elizabeth Martin

BESSIE E. MARTIN

Bessie Elizabeth Martin, 96, a resident of the Sugar Valley Nursing Home in Mound City, died there today, Aug. 16, 1989.  She was born Aug. 13, 1893 in Pioneer, MO, the daughter of John and Martha Conner Wilson.  She married Frank Stidham in 1909.  He died in 1917.  She married Harley Martin July 25, 1919.  He died in 1962.  Mrs. martin was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mound City.  
Survivors include a son, Earnest Stidham, Blackwell, OK. 13 Grandchildren, and 30 Great Grandchildren. 
Graveside services will be 2pm Friday in at Woodfin Cemetery in Foster, MO.  Visitation will be from 7-8pm Thu at the Fairchild-Coffel Funeral Home in Mound City, KS.
