Beulah Anderson

(14%) is what statistics say. Beulah I. Anderson was born in Maxwell, N.M. On Nov. 10, 1923 at home. She is one of 14 siblings and 5 step siblings. When Beulah was a year and half old, they moved to Wiggins CO. She attended high school there and went on to college at Greeley CO. In 1944 She joined the arm services Army Wac where she did her duty for a number of months in CA. Then moved back to CO. where she meet Louie Anderson they married in Syracuse KN. They lived in and around the Four Corners area, Louie was a Mining engineer for Minerals Engineering. They decided to make Moab their home in 1952. The time of the Uranium boom in Moab she was a waitress at Ferns Cafe. & Arches Cafe. Louie worked for Moab Garage in the 1950's and later owned and operated Lou's Auto Marine. Beulah helped Louie with the garage and light bookkeeping. Beulah, had a special lad in her life, Arnold Beyler he was a very special part of her life. The son she never had, she loved him very much. Now coaching for the Boston Red Sox. Beulah loved the outdoors, fishing, playing canasta with family and friends. Putting jig saw puzzles together. Beulah passed away on Nov. 10, 2014 at the Moab Regional Hospital with family by her side.

She is survived by her daughter: LuDean Merritt (Mike) Moab, UT. Kelly Nelson (Tony) Oceanside, CA. Ginger Aarron (Mike) Moab, UT; Granddaughters: Brittny Shumway (Travis) Moab, UT. Carly Walker (Denver, CO.) Haley Aarron, (Moab, UT.) Five Great Grandchildren: Ethyn, & Nicolas Shumway, (Moab, UT.) Devin Nelson & Kelsi Wright Woods.(Clint) And 2 Great Grandchildren: Arianna & Noah Woods (Oceanside, CA.); 5 Sisters: Goldie Buckendorf (Green River, WY.) Georgina Taylor (Brashrar MO.) , Alice Kitzman (Beyers, CO.) Maragret Glantz (Glendale Az.) Sara Tibbits (Neil)(Grand Jct. CO.); 1 Brother: Roy Wohlford (Fort Morgan CO.)

She was preceded in death by her parents George T. Wohlford, Pearl H. Wohlford Glazier; (2) Sisters Ethel Austin, and Sylvia Wohlford (4) Brothers Dale Cambell, Wendel, William, and Roger Wohlford.

Her service will be at the Community Church, 544 Mi Vida Dr. Moab, UT. On Friday Nov. 21, 2014. at 11:00 A.M.
