Beulah G. "Bea" McCumbers

EDERALSBURG - Beulah "Bea" McCumbers, formerly of Federalsburg, MD, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the County Rest Home in Greenwood, DE. She was 89.
She was born on May 27, 1928 in Charleston, WV, the daughter of the late Jenkins Waybright and Corda Goff Waybright.
She was married to Denver E. McCumbers who preceded her in death on Feb. 22, 1988. She worked in Caroline and Baltimore counties as a nursing assistant for over 30 years at private homes, nursing homes, and hospitals. She enjoyed her flower garden, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by seven children: Carolyn Neidlinger, and her husband Fred, of Milford, DE; Jerel McCumbers, and his wife Susan, of Pasadena, MD; Joyce Kontgias, and her husband Mike, of Horntown, VA; Marvin McCumbers, of Federalsburg; Ronald McCumbers, and his wife Lois, of Federalsburg; Michael McCumbers, and his wife Terry, of Bridgeville, DE; Danny McCumbers, and his wife Brenda, of Lakeland, FL; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by six siblings: Lee Waybright, Mabel Vanburen, Alma Doolittle, Della Goodrich, Elmer Waybright and Ona Waybright.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 1, 12 noon, at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg. Interment will follow at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery near Hurlock. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 12 noon.
