About Blanche M. Patterson
Blanche M Patterson, 76. of Brave at 4 40 a m Wednesday, May 14, 1986. in General Hospital, Morgantown, W Va., following a short illness. She was born January 6, 1910, in a daughter of the late Shell and Cora Six Gump. She had lived her early life in West Virginia, and for the past 71 years resided in Greene County. She was a member of Kents Methodist Church in Brave, and had played the church organ for 50 years. She also was a member of the Rebekah Greene Lodge. Her husband, J. Arthur Patterson, died October 22, 1959. She is by a daughter, Susan Patterson of Brave; a son, Terry Patterson of Fairmont, two stepsons, James Arthur Patterson and William Franklin Patterson, both of Dayton, Ohio; nine grandchildren; and five She was the last of her family. Deceased are three Lola Tustin, Lillian Meyers and Lenna Lemley, and two brothers, Denzil and Raymond Gump.
