A funeral for former McMinnville resident Bobbie Marie Pollard of Roseburg will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Garden Valley Church of Christ, Roseburg. Private interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park, McMinnville.
Mrs. Pollard died June 24, 2000, in a Roseburg care center. She was 92.
She was born Nov. 1, 1907, in Fort Towson, Okla., the daughter of Ed and Zenie Traylor Jaynes.
She and Art Pollard were married Oct. 20, 1923, in Antlers, Okla.
She moved to Roseburg in 1944 and to McMinnville in 1959. Mrs. Pollard was a cook at Linfield College, McMinnville, until 1988. She then moved back to Roseburg.
She belonged to the Garden Valley Church of Christ. She enjoyed sewing and cooking.
Survivors include a daughter, Christine Karlinger of Medford; a son, Robert Pollard of Warrenton; two sisters, Maurine Dire of Fort Smith, Ark., and Doris Morrison of Lubbock Texas; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1964; a son, Art Pollard Jr.; a sister and a brother.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilson's Chapel of the Roses, Roseburg.
