Brief overview:

Bossie, was shot in the leg by a gang of armed men at a petrol station on Ridder Street when they were bombing an ATM. He had gone to the Engen garage to buy some snacks around 03h00. He called his employer, Chantel, who went to assist, and attempted to stop the bleeding. She contacted Netcare 911 emergency services who took him to hospital. He was given pain medication and discharged later that day, but was not treated. Chantel collected him from the hospital, but Bossie was clearly severely ill. He died on the hospital premises.
