Howe had been singing in various bands in England with little success when he was signed in 1984 to be the lead vocalist for Ted Nugent’s band. After recording with Nugent on the album “Penetrator,” Howe joined Bad Company in 1986 replacing Paul Rogers as lead singer. Bad Company with Howe released the hit albums “Dangerous Age” and “Holy Water,” the latter featuring the hit song “If You Needed Somebody.” Howe left the group in 1994 for a solo career with his last single “Hot Tin Roof,” coming out in 2017.
