Brig. Gen. Herbert Evan Charles Bayley Nepean, CMG CSI CB

Brigadier General Herbert Evan Charles Bayley Nepean was Commandant of the 123rd Outram's Rifles, Indian Army. He was Temporary Brigadier-General and Brigade Commander of the Middle East Force between 1916 and 1921. He was invested as a Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1917. He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Star of India (C.S.I.) in 1919. He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1921. He gained the rank of Honorary Brigadier-General in 1922.
