"Bro. Edward B. Richert
Bro. Edward B. Richert, SJ, died March 20 of congestive heart failure at Colombiere Center in Clarkston. He was 86.
He was born April 8, 1909, in DeKalb, Ill. He entered the Society of Jesus on July 29, 1933, in Milford, Ohio.
Bro. Richert was a gardener at the Milford, Ohio, Novitiate; West Baden College in West Baden, Ind.; Bellarmine School, N. Aurora, Ill.; Regis Hall, Wadworth [sic-Wadsworth], Ill.; and Bellarmine Hall, Barrington, Ill. He worked in the wine room and with cars, as well as in the garden at St. Stanislaus Parish, Parma, Ohio; and in the library at Bellarmine School. In 1983, he moved to Colombiere Center.
He is survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was celebrated March 22 in Colombiere Center. Burial was in Colombiere Center Cemetery, Clarkson.
