<p>ARNAUDVILLE - Memorial services will be held Thursday, January 31, 2013 at an 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville for Bruno "Brown" Meche, age 89, who passed away Friday, January 25, 2013 at 5:30 a.m. at Opelousas General Health System in Opelousas.<br style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; box-sizing: border-box; outline: none 0px; caret-color: #444444; color: #444444; font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', sans-serif; font-size: 15px;" /><br style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; box-sizing: border-box; outline: none 0px; caret-color: #444444; color: #444444; font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', sans-serif; font-size: 15px;" /><br style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; box-sizing: border-box; outline: none 0px; caret-color: #444444; color: #444444; font-family: 'Source SansPro', sans-serif; font-size: 15px;" />Interment will be in St. Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. The Rev. He was previously employed as a meter reader for the city of Arnaudville in the Utilities Department for 24 years. Mr. Meche was a parishioner of St. Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville, where he was an Usher. He was a veteran of the military having served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the V.F.W. Arnaudville Post # 5153 and the Knight of Columbus. <br style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; box-sizing: border-box; outline: none 0px; caret-color: #444444; color: #444444; font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', sans-serif; font-size: 15px;" /><br style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; box-sizing: border-box; outline: none 0px; caret-color: #444444; color: #444444; font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', sans-serif; font-size: 15px;" /><br style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; box-sizing: border-box; outline: none 0px; caret-color: #444444; color: #444444; font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', sans-serif; font-size: 15px;" />Survivors include his dear friend, Norma Knott Stelly of Arnaudville; three sons, Lanard Meche and his wife, Bernella "Bennie," of Arnaudville, Randall Meche and his wife, Mia, of Albuquerque, NM and Thommy Meche and his wife, Tonia, of Arnaudville; one daughter, Christina Meche of Houston, TX; twelve grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and two sisters, Cecile M. Zerangue of Opelousas and Patsy M. Meche and the former, Oscalie Olivier, both natives of Arnaudville; one son, Carl Meche; one daughter, Shelia Meche; one son-in-law,Ricky Arias; two brothers, Alvin J. Meche and Willie Meche; and four sisters, Winnie M. Zerangue, Melonie M. Guidroz, Lola M. Latiolais and Marie M.
