Brunon Paul Bielinski

I am a Bielinski by Deed Poll--the legal process in Australia by which a person changes their name. My dear mother changed hers to Bielinski a month before I born. Brunon Bielinski wrote quite a few letters to the lady he abandoned and was fond of judging other people...referring to many men as "cads." That's exactly what he was!! I met his siblings when I was thirty-one and they certainly didn't roll out the red carpet for me. Had my kind energetic mother not been able to work I would have been placed in an orphanage. I am so proud of her memory but am disgusted when I see a photo of Brunon Bielinski...the misery he caused!!!

Very, very rarely are The Abandoned Overseas Children of American Servicemen mentioned or recognized in US media. Indeed very, very few Americans show any interest in FORCES SOUVENIR CHILDREN. Justice doesn't always prevail in this world and I'm hoping that the people who treated my mother so shabbily find judgment in the OLAM HABA (The World to Come).
