Burrell B. Locklear, 61, Lumberton, Route 2, died Thursday in the hospital here following a heart attack. Funeral arrangements have not been made.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary C. Locklear; his sons, Clinton of Lumberton, Donald of Fayetteville, Robert Louis of the home, and Glenwood Locklear; his daughters, Mrs. Lula Mae Rogers, Mrs. Minnie C. Lowry, and Miss Annie Neal Locklear of Lumberton, and Miss Myrtle Locklear of Fayetteville; his brothers, Sanford, Junior, and Dewey Locklear of Lumberton, and Ralph Osborne Locklear of St Pauls; his sisters, Mrs. Flowers Sampson, Mrs. Dessie Locklear, Mrs. Liddie Thompson, and Zeddie Locklear all of Pembroke, Margaret Locklear of Philadelphia, and Bertha Locklear of New Jersey; 21 grandchildren.
