"Burtis B. Frum, age 91 of Bridgeport, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 27th, 2010 at United Hospital Center following a brief illness.
He was born April 23rd, 1918 in Sardis, the son of the late Delbert L. Frum and Lottie B. Shreves Frum.
His wife, Margaret L. Fittro Frum, whom he married November 5th, 1938, survives. Also surviving are two sons, Jim Frum and his wife Solda of Lenexa, Kansas and Bill Frum and his wife Sandra of Clarksburg. Two daughters, Daleen J. Liptak Lyons and her husband Dave of Odessa, Missouri, and Sharon V. Wetzel and her husband Robert of Quiet Dell, along with nine grandchildren, and sixteen great grandchildren. Two sisters, Mary Ann Davis of Rochester Hills, Michigan, and Betty Buchannon of Bridgeport; and, his special sister-in-law, Phyllis Brown of Clarksburg, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Frum was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister, Jennings, Albert, Louis, Max, and James Frum, and Virginia Murray.
Mr. Frum retired from Country Club Chrysler. He owned and operated Frum Motors, Inc., along with his brother Max, in Edgewood for a number of years, as well as operating a glass shop and the Amoco Gas Station also in Edgewood. He was a fifty year member of the Clarksburg Lodge Number 52, Loyal Order of the Moose, and the Oak Mound E.C. Church.
Family and friends will be received at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Friday from 4-8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 30th, 2010 at 10:00 AM with Reverend Bob Phillips and Reverend Fred Aves presiding. Interment will follow in the Bridgeport Cemetery."

In 1940 Census, at the age of 22, Burtis was married to Margaret, age 16, and worked as a treader. The young couple lived with his father, Delbert Frum, and grandmother, Martha Ann "Mattie" Swiger Frum (b.1862 – d.1943)
