About Byron H. Cate
Byron H. Cate was born Jan. 1844 in Vermont; he married 1st in 1875 with ELIZABETH JANE "Betsy" TAYLOR dau. of James Fiske Taylor and Rebekah Upton. She was born 1849 and died during childbirth in May 1884. Byron then later, in 1889, married with the sister of his late wife, ANN R. TAYLOR. They resided in Hudson, New Hampshire in 1900.
