Calvin H. Young, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Young, died Wednesday morning, September 4, 1912, at 10:15 o’clock, of tuberculosis. He suffered from the disease for more than a year and spent some time in Florida in the hope that the climate would benefit him. Mr. Young was 39 years old and had been a widower for 8 years. He was a good man and had a great many friends. He leaves an aged aunt who cared for him in his last hours of suffering; also two sisters and three brothers, and a host of friends to mourn his loss. The funeral took place in the Grove Hill Cemetery on Thursday afternoon, September 5th and was conducted by Howard Lodge of Odd Fellows.
